About Us
Specialist Rehab Services is a community based service that was founded in 2002 by Sharon Wilson, Physiotherapist and Estelle Borer, Occupational Therapist.
Specialist Rehab Services has a large multidisciplinary team of experienced rehabilitation professionals. This includes professionals from the following disciplines:
- Nursing
- Occupational Therapy
- Speech Language Therapy
- Physiotherapy
- Dietitian
- Social Work
- Psychology
Our highly professional and experienced clinicians are all registered with their professional bodies and hold a current annual practicing certificate in their chosen disciplines. Our clinicians are committed to providing client focused services working in collaboration with you to achieve the goals that you want to achieve.
We are committed to on-going professional development and continuous quality improvement. All of our rehabilitation professionals engage in regular professional development and supervision (in compliance with the HPCAA requirements where appropriate) to ensure that we continue to provide you with evidenced based rehabilitation.
We have an amazing team of professionals and as a company we provide excellent support and on-going training for all of our team.
We engage with and contribute to the health and disability sector providing support to review current practice and to develop improvements in the sector. We have a board of advisors who help guide our service development and quality improvements. We are located in a hub where we share space with a number of organisations such as Yes Disability Resource Centre.
