Behaviour Support Services (BSS)
SRS holds the Behaviour Support Services contract and has a team in Auckland and Canterbury regions ready for referrals from ACC. We have a high quality team of Psychologists with experience in working with adults and those who specialise in working with children and adolescents. They all have a wealth of experience in assessing behaviour, developing behaviour support plans, working with whānau and support people, and working across different environments such as home, school, work and in the community.
SRS will work with the client and whānau to:
- Explore the individual needs and goals Understand the behaviour and where it occurs
- Develop and implement a plan together to reduce the impact of the behaviour
- Support participation in school, work and activities that are important
- Teach more positive ways of coping and relating to one another
- Teach self management of needs and behaviour so BSS is no longer required
